Situated in Southeast Europe, Croatia is a place with unique character you can’t find elsewhere.  There is so much to explore and experience, from the Mediterranean islands to the urban culture, from splashing in the Adriatic’s clear waters to discovering the different landscapes and to diving into the scene of the Game of Thrones, it is all simply spectacular! The walled city in Dubrovnik is not to be missed.  A perfectly well-preserved barricade in Europe with its medieval and Baroque splendors.

Besides the ancient monuments, the capital of Zagreb has a distinctly modern vibe with an unusual art and music scene. A number of drama and music festivals are held here every summer.

Continue your trip by visiting the Varazdin, one of central Europe’s best-preserved Baroque towns.

I highly recommend taking a trip to explore the stunning Plitvice Lakes National Park with sixteen sapphire lakes and spouting waterfalls which are all surrounded by woodlands that are home to deer, bears, wolves and wild boar.

Visit the stonehouse villages and be sure to visit Hvar Island where you can feast on the award-winning traditional Dalmatian cuisine. Finally, wind down and relax on the beautiful Island of Rab. Fun fact, if you are a fan of Mama Mia, visit the The Island of Vis where it was filmed!

While exploring the Dalmatian Islands, make sure you stop by the Diocletian’s former palace and enjoy an unforgettable nightlife experience.
